The Tampa Bay Devil Rays have yet to release an official statement about Elijah Dukes' arrest this week. He was pulled over Monday night because of a loud music violation, and the cops then charged him with misdemeanor marijuana possession after smelling pot and searching the car. Dukes just seems like one of those young punks who thinks he doesn't have to play by the rules. Kick him off the team--he sure can't pass a drug test now.

Let's be real. Is Duke an angel? Hell NO. Let's look at the other side. The battered woman syndrome did not press charge on him. Why Not? Why is she back pedaling now? #1. According to her, if she fears for her life, then why doesn't she leave. Why doesn't she press charges? So the Devil Rays can do something...MLB can do something...the police can do something.
#2. Now she is saying, taking baseball away from Dukes will make him worse than he is. Don't take that away from him. Is this back pedaling?
#3) Why did she just not call the police...INSTEAD she went to the news paper??
#4) Either...way, she already has ruins his career.
#5) No more cashing cow...for her...so better back pedal.
